CPA-450 dispersant is a polyacrylate that powerfully chelates calcium and magnesium ions in hard water. By adsorbing onto inorganic salt crystal nuclei, it allows surfactants in laundry detergent to achieve optimal washing performance. It effectively inhibits crystal growth and can embed itself in growing crystals, causing them to distort and suspend in water, thus achieving scale inhibition and stain dispersion.
